Eli Roth's Goretorium

A rusty old machine squeaking, the sickly sound of blood and goo sticking to your shoes as you walk up to sit in the chair. The whole scene changes, lighting gets darker, more sinister. This is the video that gives you a taste of whats in store for an awesome year round haunted attraction in no where other then Las Vegas, Nevada!!!!!

Eli Roth's Goretorium opens up on September 27, 2012 and promises you will never be the same!Eli Roth is the Actor/Director/Writer behind Hostel and Cabin Fever.It is sure to be thrilling, disturbing and all kinds of awesome :-D! I am not sure if I will be able to make it out there since September is a double birthday month, my daughter then my sister, which makes the timing not so great for me but I hope to get out to see it soon. I'm in need of a trip anyways lol.

Phoenix Fearcom Is Coming!

I was looking up different conventions that were held like Comic Con, Sacrefest, and Westcoast Haunters Convention and I found one that is going to be locally. October 13 2012 will be coming, Phoenix Fearcon! I have always wanted to go to one of these so hopefully I will be able to make it. If not I will definitively plan on going to one in one of the others.

Nothing excites me more then the thought of being surrounded by other horror fanatics and getting to see all the vendors and movies they show. See I am the only one in my family that is as much of a fan of the genre. My sister likes it too but it has different meaning to me then her.

I would love to hear about everyone's experiences at the different horror/haunters/sci fi conventions :-)

Saturday Morning Frights

Ok, yes I love the super scary horror and the gore of course but nothing brings me back to my youth then the movies and cartoons I watched as a kid. I liked the kid spooky stuff as well and I still do. I will watch even the Disney Halloween or spooky themed type of moves and t.v. shows so you can say I am well rounded lol.

I just found out (obviously a little late) that FEARnet is going to have FEARnet's Funhouse on Saturday and Sunday mornings from 10am-12pm! They will be showing shows like Eerie IN, The Real Ghostbusters, Dark Oracle, and one of my favorites, Tales From The Crypkeepert!!!! If you want some more info on these shows go here.

Hello fellow fanatics! I am a Horror, Halloween, Special Effects, Paranormal (and everything in between) fanatic and one of my reasons for making this blog is to connect with others who share my enthusiasm for the macabre. 

I saw my first horror movie when I was very young, about 6 and ever since I have had a fascination with everything dark and unknown. I had a rough childhood and in a weird sort of way my horror movies and books helped me get through it. I was able to lose myself in a story and also maybe channel my anger and frustration into those stories instead of going somewhere completely different with that anger. So basically I am living proof that horror movies don't create killers, those people were more broken anyways.
