Hold Your Breath: My Thought's

Hold Your Breath: My Thought's

Sorry it took me so long to get this up. Life is always crazy, but I am working on getting better at organizing my time. Bare with me :-).

So, I was really looking forward to seeing this movie. After seeing the preview I liked the story line and had high hopes for it. I finally got a chance to see it and I liked it, but honestly felt they could have done more with the plot. So I was a little disappointed.

Other than that it was good and would recommend it to people to watch.

The story line of having to hold your breath when going through a cemetery was interesting.

Basically, some college age kids are going camping and on the way to the campgrounds they have to drive past a cemetery. Everyone must hold their breath until they have passed the grounds or risk being possessed by the spirit of a killer.

But of course there is always that one friend that screws everything up.

This is what starts all the mischief and mayhem. I won't go further into the story as to not ruin it for others but it is a fun movie, just not as good as it could have been. In my opinion at least.
You Can Buy It Here

Give it a watch and let me know what you think! I would really love to get more feedback from my readers! So please, comment, email, check me out on Instagram or Twitter!

Music Festivals:Escape Psycho Circus

I recently came across this music festival called

Escape
Psycho Circus

And holy sh** does it look awesome!

I have only been to 2 concerts. My first was as a favor and the second was the New Year's Eve Block Party at Tempe Town Lake. That was always fun! None of that comes close to Escape!

Clowns and Scarecrows 0_0

They have 4 stages and all kind's of crazy performers. They also have a scary maze so it's like haunted attraction mixed with a huge, INSANE music festival!

This map is from 2015 but it gives an idea og the layout. Wow!

I hope to go maybe next year. Would love to go this year lol.

Would you go to a festival like this?

My Horror T-shirt Shop!

I Opened A Horror T-shirt Shop!

I have somewhat recently started designing T-shirts. Some of you may have seem them on my Instagram page and my Twitter but if not here are some of my designs so far.

One of the reasons I started doing this is because I am trying to earn money for my daughters Sweet 16! No one in my family has had a Sweet 16 and if someone is deserving of that special day it's her. She has been through a lot and I want to do this for her more than anything! She has Non-Verbal Learning Disorder, ADHD and has struggled with being bullied as well as going through a hard time while I was my mother's live in caregiver until she passed. She has always been such a good kid and understanding of how thing's have been with me being a single mom. She deserves a special day!

Time is running out and it would take a miracle to pull it off, but I am still holding out hope. I have been saving but there is no way I can pull off that kind of money while trying to take care of all my responsibilities.

I will continue to make shirts because I like the creativity. If you have any idea's, suggestions, or feedback I would appreciate it greatly!

Ghost House Underground: Seventh Moon

I have always been fascinated with myths, beliefs, and customs of different cultures so even though this isn't the actual sociological review of the Chinese belief of Hungry Ghost Month, it is still interesting.

I believe that all our myths came from someplace real. Maybe not every single one but most. I think we are often too arrogant in our belief that we understand everything and that we are all that there is. The truth lies somewhere in between myths and science. neither can solely explain and be responsible for everything.

Being that I have multiple ethnicities, one being Asian...Filipino to be exact, the Asian beliefs have always intrigued me. The Irish beliefs come in second to that.

Anyways, back to the movie lol.

I have seen it before but yesterday on a trip to this store in Mesa called Bookman's (Which I will be doing A review on next Fiday) , I found a copy of it for $3 which I couldn't pass up. I love finding things cheap :-)!

Seventh Moon is made by Ghost House Pictures and is one of their Ghost House Underground Films. It is about a young newlywed couple, Melissa (Amy Smart) and Yul (Tim Chiou), that are honeymooning in China so they can visit his family . On their cab ride to the village they become lost in the countryside and are attacked by supernatural beings. Somehow they have to try to survive the night after finding the cab driver Ping (Dennis Chan) has abandoned them.

This movie didn't score very high on reviews but I really liked it! I thought it had a great creep factor and told a good story. Not every movie has to have millions of dollars in computer generated graphics to make it good.

So I definitely suggest you give it a try and maybe be a little wary (and more respectful) when the Seventh Lunar Month comes around!

Freaky Friday Finds: Cutting Edge Gift Shop

I Want to start by saying sorry for not doing my Freaky Friday Finds every Friday. There has been a lot going on so I haven't had the time to do the research and all. I will get better at it though.

Also I can't forget to say
Happy Friday The 13th!

Okay so this shop isn't an online store find but I love the stuff they have! They have everything from statues of Zombies to Dragon end tables and weapons! They have movie and game replica swords and other weapons as well as a line of Zombie Killing Weapons! Okay, I am using way too many exclamation points lol, I get a little excited :-P.

The Store front at Superstition Spring's Mall.

I want this statue so bad!

Zombie's!

Nice!

Fury Bones, I love these little guy's!

Not the best pic. I had to stand on my tip toes cause I'm short lol.

I am always looking for unique places to get goodies from and it is amazing what you can find online but it is always fun to find a brick and mortar shop that appeals to the horror genre crowd. Someplace you can go and actually touch the things you're planning on spending your hard earned money on.

Don't get me wrong, I love online shopping! I love that we can find thing's that we would have never been able to find because it was in another state, another country, or just something you weren't even looking for. Some of the things I have wanted the most are thing's I didn't even know existed!

What have you found online or off?
